Abstract: Human studies for the history of human capital do not last long, however, human capital for economic development has an enormous role. At present, the human capital already became most important resources and the guarantee in the advance in technology and the social development. The competition in economy and technology displays for the human resources especially for human capital competition finally. In recent years along with the western big development's implementation, the Central authorities have enlarged to the western investment. Western region's each economic indicator has also made great progress than before. However, compared with the eastern provinces, there are still significant gaps. On the terms of western region, through the research of human capital and the western region economic growth's relation, may provide the feasible opinion and the suggestion to the western human capital optimization disposition and the developmental strategy, this has the very vital significance to the western region economy's sustainable development.In this paper, a considerable amount of research material on the basis of quantitative and qualitative analysis of the use of the method of combining the human capital of western region and the economic growth of the relationship between the in-depth study, a detailed demonstration of the relationship.The article studied the relationship between human capital investment and the economic growth in western region. In this paper, absorb and learn from there on the basis of research results, the analysis and research within its means, first of all, on the investment in human capital of western region and the national average situation and the situation of other provinces. It come to the overall strength of investment in human capital of western region is not enough, the structure is irrational, the investment environment and other issue.
