Abstract: The Educational Thought of Modern capabilities is an important part of Zhang Boling’s educational thought, based on the Social Situation of China to develop modern education, create modern talents, promot education which saves the nation and promote China's modernization, through a lot of practice of education and the formation of distinctive characteristics of educational concept,which conforms tightly to the practice, application, and the times. The article sums up and combines the formation and the devoloping of Zhang Boling's Educational Thought of Modern capabilities,defines its connotation seeks the way of its implementation and interprets its contemporary implications through analyzing the social situation of the times in which Zhang Boling lives, national situation and Zhang Boling’s personal factors. Through the in-depth reading of the text, Zhang Boling's capabilities are summed up as four areas in this article,namely moral capability, auto capability, creative capability and unity .It is mainly achieved through five aspects,namely its claim that taking consideration of three kinds of education, the implementation of practicing experience education,promotion of modern life, encourageing team training and the advocacy of sports.Combined with the reality, this article argues that Zhang Boling’s modern abilities can be further interpreted in contemporary thought in modern society, ability to adapt to modern society, modern core competitiveness and teamwork in modern age, and makes detailed analysis and construction of each specific capability…
